Our Core Values

At Harvest, our values define who we are as a church family and who we are striving to become. They shape how we worship, how we live in community, and how we serve both locally and globally. These commitments guide our ministry and reflect the heart of what it means to follow Jesus together.

We Preach the Bible

At Harvest, we believe the Bible is the very Word of God and the message of hope for our lives. Rather than relying on human opinions, we seek to faithfully present, proclaim, and promote the timeless truth of Scripture.

We Love Albany

At Harvest, we are grateful to be part of this community. Albany is a wonderful place filled with incredible people deeply loved by God. It is our joy and privilege to show His love in tangible ways and point our neighbors to Jesus.

We Make Disciples

At Harvest, we take seriously Jesus’ call to be disciples who make disciples. Through evangelism, teaching, and walking alongside one another, we help new believers grow in Christ so they, too, can share the gospel and disciple others.

At Harvest, we believe singing is a vital expression of worship. As the Holy Spirit fills our lives, one of the natural outflows is heartfelt praise. Together, we lift our voices with passion to glorify our good and faithful God.

At Harvest, we celebrate the diversity of our church family—each person unique in background and experience. Our unity is not in uniformity, but in holding fast to the timeless, essential truths of Scripture. In matters of lesser importance, we walk with grace, love, and understanding.

We Participate in World Missions

At Harvest, we embrace God’s heart for the nations. He has entrusted the church with the task of taking the gospel to every tribe, tongue, and nation. We obey this Great Commission by praying for more laborers, giving to support missionaries, and actively sharing Christ both here and around the world.
