Thomas Nunnery has called Harvest Baptist Church home since childhood. He came to know Christ during a Vacation Bible School when he was five years old, and by the time he was ten, he sensed God calling him to preach. Over the years, he jumped in wherever he could—teaching a children’s Sunday School class, helping in junior church, running a bus route, or even mowing the yard. Those early years of service helped shape his heart for ministry.

After high school, Thomas attended Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, graduating in 2010 with a degree in Pastoral Studies. During that time, his love for studying and preaching the Bible deepened—and so did his relationship with Amber. The two first met in middle school while playing soccer, and as teenagers, Thomas invited her to a youth rally at Harvest where she came to know Christ. They became close friends, and later, both attended Heartland, marrying between their junior and senior year.

After graduation, Thomas and Amber returned to Harvest to work with the teenagers, where they served for nine years. Later, they transitioned into young adult ministry while Thomas also served as associate pastor. In August of 2024, the church he grew up in called him to serve as pastor.

Thomas and Amber have three children and love raising their family in Albany. Together, they enjoy serving the church and community and are grateful for the opportunity to help others love God, grow together, and serve others.

Sam Sitler has served at Harvest Baptist Church since 2015 as Music Minister. He and his wife, Stephanie, share a love for music and ministry, joyfully serving the church and teaching the 5th and 6th grade Sunday School class. ...

Sam Sitler has been part of Harvest Baptist Church since the age of six. Though he made several professions of faith as a child, it wasn’t until the age of seventeen that he truly came to know Christ as his Savior. From that moment on, the Lord began placing a desire in his heart to serve Him through music.

Growing up, Sam spent countless hours listening to groups like the Cathedrals and Gold City. Through that influence, he developed a deep love for quartet-style gospel music. God used that passion to direct his calling, and Sam soon taught himself guitar, followed by bass and piano—skills he would later use in ministry.

After high school, Sam attended Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, graduating in 2015 with a degree in Music. Following God’s leading, he returned to Harvest to serve as Music Minister, where he continues to lead the music ministry with the goal of glorifying Christ and encouraging the congregation in worship.

In June 2019, while in Meridian, Idaho, Sam met his wife, Stephanie. She was saved at the age of twelve through the bus ministry of her home church and has faithfully followed the Lord since. Sam and Stephanie were married the following year. Together, they serve at Harvest, teaching the 5th and 6th grade Sunday School class and joyfully helping wherever the Lord gives opportunity.
